This "MyStartInTech" campaign (hereinafter referred to as the "Campaign") is brought to you by .TECH Domains (a brand of Radix Domain Solutions Pte Ltd and Radix FZC) (hereinafter referred to as “Radix”). Please read these terms and conditions (the "T&Cs") if you are participating in the Spread The Word Contest (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”). You agree that, by participating in this Contest, you will be bound by these T&Cs and you acknowledge and agree that you satisfy all Contest eligibility requirements as provided herein below. For the purposes of these T&Cs, wherever the context so requires "You" or "Your" shall mean any natural person who is a participant in the Contest.
You need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to enter the Contest:
(a) You should be at least 18 years or above at the time of entry into the Contest OR have an adult/guardian consent to participate in the contest on your behalf;
(b) You should have a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Passport/ Social Security Number and/or any relevant Government Identification applicable for anyone who is at least 18 years in their Country.
Employees of Radix, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and Radixs affiliates, advisors, and advertising / contest agencies are not eligible to enter the Contest.
1. This Contest will be open from May 5th, 2021 00:00 (PT) to July 5th, 2021 23:59 p.m. (PT) only ("Contest Period").
2. To enter, you must, during the Contest Period:
(a) You can participate in the Contest by navigating to the respective section in www.startin.tech where you will have the opportunity to select the cause that closely matches your interest and share your social media post on Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram or Facebook by tagging @dottechdomains and listing the url startin.tech and using the hashtag #MyStartInTech
(b) Once you share your message, you will be eligible to enter the lucky draw.
(c) Participants will be deemed eligible only if (i) they share the social media post through the website, (ii) use the #MyStartInTech hashtag in their post, (iii) tag @dottechdomains in their post, and (iv) list the url startin.tech in their post. Eligible participants will be identified using their social media handles on the respective social media platforms namely Twitter and Facebook.
(d) There will be one lucky winner identified at the end of the Contest Period and Radix will donate $5000 USD on behalf of the winner to Code.org to show his/her support towards the cause & the campaign.
The winner will be selected through a process of fair & square lucky draw from a pool of eligible participants who satisfy the criteria defined below
The winner will be announced on .Tech’s official social media handles @dottechdomains on Facebook and Twitter on 10th July 2021. Once announced, Radix will require the email address of the winner to complete the formalities within three (3) days.
Failure to (i) meet the eligibility criteria, (ii) comply with these T&Cs and / or (iii) acknowledge winning the contest through email within three (3) days, will result in Radix selecting another winner for this Contest
Subject to the winner acknowledging the win within the given time period as per the instructions from Radix, the donation will be made by Radix to Code.org by 31st July, 2021.
Radix may, in its sole discretion and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, change any of the terms of these T&Cs, change or cancel any of the rules, or change or cancel the Contest at any time; or modify, terminate, or suspend the Contest for any reason (including but not limited to viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond its control, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest or submission of entries as deemed appropriate by Radix).
Radix is not responsible for: (a) lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries; (b) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest; (c) any error in the operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or (d) injury or damage to your or any other computer or mobile resulting from downloading any materials in connection with the Contest.
Radix may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any individual found to be: (a) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or any of Radixs or its affiliate's property, including www.startin.tech; (b) acting in violation of these T&Cs; or (c) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. If your entry is incomplete or if you use robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods, your entry will be void. The authorized subscriber of the social media account used to enter the Contest at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these T&Cs. The authorized subscriber is the natural person who is provided a social media account by the organization that is responsible for assigning social media account handles.
The Contest and all accompanying materials are the intellectual property of Radix. All rights reserved. No requests for transfer or assignment or redemption of the benefits shall be entertained. You agree that all decisions made by Radix related to the Contest are final and binding on you. Failure by Radix to enforce any of these T&Cs in any instance shall not be deemed to be a waiver of the T&Cs and shall not give rise to any claim by any person. These T&Cs are governed by the laws of UAE and courts in UAE shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any disputes or any matter arising here from.
This Contest is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrest, technical snags, act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Radix ("Force Majeure Event"). Radix shall be not liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to you as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
This Contest is being made purely on a "best effort" basis and participating in this Contest is voluntary. By participating in the Contest, you will be legally bound hereby, to release from liability, and hold harmless Radix, and any of its affiliates, employees or agents representing or related to Radix and its services/products. This release is for any and all liability for personal injuries (including death), property loss or damage, and misuse of the benefits/ prizes offered under this Contest, in connection with any activity or directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, or participation in the Contest, even if caused or contributed to by Radix’s negligence.
